In the cutthroat world of roadside restaurants, being invisible is a death sentence. TastyMade faced this exact challenge—how to stand out on a busy strip where every business is screaming for attention.
When you're competing with dozens of other storefronts on a high-traffic road, you need something that doesn't just catch eyes—it demands them. TastyMade needed visibility from a distance without making potential customers squint and search.
We went all-in on height and nostalgia. The resulting 30-foot tall internally lit sign brings a distinct mid-century modern aesthetic that perfectly complements TastyMade's existing retro branding. Rather than just copying old designs, we created something that appeals to modern audiences while maintaining that distinctive retro vibe.
Much like other successful signage projects, our approach combined both form and function. We designed and manufactured a complete signage scheme that includes 3D lettering and illuminated elements that make the sign truly pop at night.
This isn't just signage—it's a landmark. The towering retro beacon has transformed TastyMade from "another restaurant on that busy road" to "the place with THAT amazing sign." Not only does it draw in customers from far away, but it's become a visual anchor for the whole strip.
At night, the sign transforms into a glowing nostalgic masterpiece that's impossible to miss. It's not just functional—it's become part of the brand's identity and a talking point for customers.
